About Steyning AC
Steyning Athletic Club was formed in 1951 to accommodate the walkers and other Athletes who at the time actively participated in race-walking and running in the Steyning area.
The club has expanded and changed since those early days, now covering many disciplines, including Running, Race Walking, Swimming, Cycling, Triathlon, Circuits, Yoga and a thriving Junior section. The club has its own premises in Charlton Street, Steyning, and caters for athletes of all ages.

The club organises the famous Steyning Stinger – a half and full off-road marathon covering trails across the South Downs, taking part on the first Sunday of March every year for more than 500 competitors.
Steyning Athletic club is a member of the West Sussex Fun Run League. Each club in the league hosts one race per year. Steyning organises the Round Hill Romp – a challenging 6-mile race which regularly attracts over 400 runners.
The club is affiliated to the British Triathlon Federation.
